President Donald Trump seemed to get a little too excited as he brought out Olympians during his State of the Union address on Tuesday night.
Trump, 79, appeared to blow out his microphone after he yelled out his introduction of the gold-winning U.S. men’s hockey team roughly 12 minutes into his 1-hour, 47-minute speech, which is now the longest such address in history.
“The state of our union is strong. Our country is winning again. In fact, we’re winning so much that we really don’t know what to do about it. People are asking me, ‘Please, please, please, Mr. President, we’re winning too much. We can’t take it anymore,’” he said.
