The women's world No. 1 is also on the line, with Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff, and Jessica Pegula all vying for Sabalenka's top spot. While a return to No. 1 isn't in the cards for 2022 US Open champ Iga Świątek right now, she's been on a roll over the past month after a rocky season and is proving to be a contender at this year's tournament. Alex Eala is also one to watch, along with Naomi Osaka. While Venus Williams was eliminated in the singles first round, she'll team up with Serena Williams for women's doubles.
