Turning Point USA, the organization founded by Charlie Kirk, has received more than 54,000 requests from students across the U.S. to join in the wake of its founder’s murder, it has revealed. The organization posted on X, “As of this afternoon, in the past 6 days, TPUSA has received 54,000+ requests from high school and college students nationwide to start a chapter or get involved with an existing chapter. This is just the beginning.” According to TP USA Students, the group already has more than 800 college chapters and over 1000 high school chapters nationwide, and it has been described by the Chronicle of Higher Education as “the dominant force in campus conservatism.” The group’s founder, Charlie Kirk, was shot and killed during an appearance at Utah Valley University last week, triggering a manhunt for his killer that led to the arrest of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson. Prosecutors are planning to seek the death penalty for Robinson for the charge of aggravated murder. He is also facing charges for obstruction of justice, witness tampering, discharging a firearm causing serious bodily injury, and committing a violent offense in front of a child.
