Scouted: I Finally Got My Hands on Pamela Anderson’s Sold-Out Cleanser, and I Totally Get the Hype

I didn’t have Pamela Anderson as a skincare brand founder on my 2024 bingo card, but last year, the former Baywatch star-turned-activist officially entered the beauty space, acquiring Sonsie Skin. The minimalist beauty brand focuses on offering “thoughtfully crafted essentials,” for all skin types—especially sensitive skin. Anderson has also garnered praise in the last year for rocking a bare face and showcasing her glowing skin at several events, so her entry into skincare couldn’t come at a better time.

That said, the celebrity beauty space is crowded—and not all of them are created equal. Plus, given that this wasn’t Anderson’s brainchild initially, I was skeptical. After reading several glowing reviews of the brand’s newly launched Cleansing Mousse, I was indeed curious to see if it would live up to the hype.
