Amazon Prime Day is here, and the four-day sale is filled with deals on TVs. I've spent over a decade reviewing TVs, so I know which Prime Day discounts are actually worth your attention. This year's top Prime Day TV deals include great prices on some of my favorite OLED, Mini LED, and QLED sets from Samsung, LG, TCL, Sony, and Hisense.
I'm seeing especially great savings on 2025 TV models, though a few brand-new 2026 TVs are getting their first big discounts since release. One standout Prime Day TV deal is on the 65-inch Samsung S90F, which is available for an all-time low of $1,198. The S90F is my choice for the best TV overall thanks to its superb contrast, wide viewing angles, and rich color performance. Meanwhile, anyone looking to go big for movies, sports, or gaming should check out the giant 98-inch TCL QM7K, anexcellent value at a record-low of $1,898.
I'll be updating this guide with the best Prime Day TV deals as new discounts go live and others sell out, so check back often for the latest offers. And for more ways to save, visit our complete hub of Prime Day deals, where our product experts are tracking discounts across every major category.
The best Prime Day Samsung TV deals
Some of the best Samsung TVs are down to record-low prices for Prime Day. At a new all-time low price, the brand's S90F is an especially great value for shoppers who prioritize picture quality. The brand-new S90H is also getting its first notable discount of the year. It's pricier than the S90F and its color performance is slightly worse, but it has a glare-free screen that's much better at fighting reflections. Meanwhile, the brand's Frame TVs are an ideal fit for people who want a display that blends seamlessly into their living room, like a hanging piece of art.
The best Prime Day LG TV deals
LG makes some of the best OLED TVs I've tested, and several of its top models are on sale for Prime Day, including the midrange C5. The brand-new C6H is also back down to its lowest price since its spring release. The C6H is available in 77- and 83-inch sizes, and it offers a notably brighter image than the C5. You can learn more in my LG C6H TV review and guide to the best LG TVs.
The best Prime Day TCL TV deals
The best TCL TVs are already a great value year-round, but these Prime Day deals make them an even better buy. The extra-large 98-inch QM7K is a standout at an all-time low price of $1,898. The QM7K's brightness and contrast rival many pricier QLED models from Samsung, LG, and Sony.
The best Prime Day Sony TV deals
Sony TVs are pricey, but their image accuracy and processing are tough to beat. For Prime Day, you can save on some of the brand's top QLED sets, including the Bravia 9, which is an excellent high-end Mini LED set with a bright picture. For an in-depth breakdown of Sony's lineup, visit my guide to the best Sony TVs.
The best Prime Day Hisense TV deals
Hisense continues to stand out as a value-focused TV brand, offering models that compete closely with TCL while often undercutting premium sets from Sony and Samsung. The U8QG is a prime example: it's one of the brightest TVs you can buy, yet it costs far less than many dimmer high-end alternatives. One caveat, however, is that the 65- and 85-inch versions use a different panel than the other sizes, which gives them better contrast but narrower viewing angles. For a full breakdown, check out my guide to the best Hisense TVs.
The best Prime Day Amazon Ember TV deals
Amazon makes its own lineup of smart TVs powered by the Fire TV platform. Though TCL and Hisense often offer better picture quality for the money, Amazon's models can still be worthwhile budget options when they're on sale. The 50-inch Omni QLED is an especially great option as it's one of the few TVs this small to include local dimming, which enhances contrast. It's back down to an all-time low of $250. Prime Day TV FAQs
What type of TV should you buy?
TV shopping can be confusing since there are several display types to choose from, including LED, OLED, QLED, Mini LED, and RGB LED. Each technology has its own strengths, so the right pick depends on your budget, room setup, and viewing habits. Here's a simple breakdown:
- OLED TVs: OLEDs, including QD-OLED and tandem OLED models, offer the best overall picture quality, with perfect black levels, pixel-level contrast, and wide viewing angles. They're ideal for movie fans, but they cost more (especially in larger sizes), aren't as bright as top QLEDs, and carry a small risk of burn-in. You can learn more in our OLED vs. QLED comparison.
- QLED TVs: QLED TVs use quantum dots to deliver bright images and vibrant color. They're great for rooms with ambient light, come in many sizes and price points, and don't pose a burn-in risk. However, they can't match OLED contrast or viewing angles, and performance is best on models with Mini LED local dimming.
- LED TVs: Basic LED TVs are the cheapest choice and work well for casual viewing or getting a large screen on a budget. But they lack premium features like quantum dots, and usually lack local dimming and wide color support, so picture quality is limited.
- RGB LED TVs: Also called Micro RGB, RGB Mini LED, or True RGB, these TVs use separate red, green, and blue LEDs to deliver an expanded color range. The tech is promising, but options are limited, and OLED remains better for contrast. You can learn more in our RGB LED vs. Mini LED comparison.
Should you buy a 2025 or 2026 TV model?
For most shoppers, a discounted 2025 TV offers the best value on Prime Day. Generally speaking, new 2026 TVs only offer modest upgrades but currently cost a lot more than last year's models. That said, certain 2026 TVs deliver bigger improvements that could be worth the extra money if you're an enthusiast who wants the latest panel technology. With that in mind, I've singled out a few particularly noteworthy 2026 TV models in this roundup.
