The best Prime Day TV deals include big savings on some of my favorite OLED, Mini LED, and QLED displays from Samsung, TCL, LG, Hisense, Roku, Sony, and Amazon.
Many of the best discounts are on 2025 models, but I'm also seeing a few 2026 TVs get their first meaningful price cuts. One of the strongest deals right now is on the 65-inch Samsung S90F, which has dropped to a record low of $1,198. It's my pick for the best TV overall thanks to its superb contrast, wide viewing angles, and rich color performance. For shoppers looking to go extra large for movies, sports, or gaming, the 98-inch TCL QM7K is another highlight at an all-time low of $1,898.

The best Prime Day Samsung TV deals
Several of the best Samsung TVs have dropped to record-low prices for Prime Day. The S90F OLED is my top pick for shoppers who care most about picture quality, especially now that it's down to a new all-time low. Samsung's newer S90H is also seeing its first meaningful discount of the year. It costs more than the S90F and doesn't quite match its color performance, but its glare-free screen does a much better job cutting down reflections. For anyone who wants a TV that looks just as good when it's off, Samsung's Frame TVs remain a great choice, with a gallery-style design that helps them blend into a room like wall art.
The best Prime Day TCL TV deals
The best TCL TVs are already a great value year-round, but these Prime Day deals make them an even better buy. The extra-large 98-inch QM7K is a standout at an all-time low price of $1,898. The QM7K's brightness and contrast rival many pricier QLED models from Samsung, LG, and Sony. Prime Day is also your first chance to save big on TCL's brand-new QM8L SQD TV. This 2026 model is similar to the QM8K, but it offers an impressive boost in color performance. Available in 77- and 83-inch sizes, the C6H delivers a noticeably brighter picture than the C5, making it a strong option for shoppers who want a bigger, more premium OLED. The best Prime Day Hisense TV deals
Hisense remains one of the best-value brands, with TVs that go toe-to-toe with TCL while often costing much less than premium models from Sony and Samsung. The U8QG is a great example. Amazon makes its own lineup of smart TVs powered by the Fire TV platform. TCL and Hisense typically deliver stronger picture quality for the price, but Amazon's sets can still be solid budget buys when discounts are steep enough. TV shopping can be confusing since there are several display types to choose from, including LED, OLED, QLED, Mini LED, and RGB LED. Each technology has its own strengths, so the right pick depends on your budget, room setup, and viewing habits. Here's a simple breakdown:
- OLED TVs: OLEDs, including QD-OLED and tandem OLED models, offer the best overall picture quality, with perfect black levels, pixel-level contrast, and wide viewing angles. - QLED TVs: QLED TVs use quantum dots to deliver bright images and vibrant color. They're great for rooms with ambient light, come in many sizes and price points, and don't pose a burn-in risk. However, they can't match OLED contrast or viewing angles, and performance is best on models with Mini LED local dimming.
- LED TVs: Basic LED TVs are the cheapest choice and work well for casual viewing or getting a large screen on a budget. But they lack premium features like quantum dots, and usually lack local dimming and wide color support, so picture quality is limited.
