While Prime Day tends to be filled with items thats seem to already always be on promotion, there are a few items that rarely go on sale, making any discount, much more appealing. The Hatch Restore 3 is one of them. It goes on sale only a few times a year, and right now you can save $30, which is the steepest it ever gets marked down.
The timing of this sale couldn't be more perfect, really. With daylight saving time ending in just a month (eek), a wake up light like the Hatch Restore can make mornings feel a little less brutal, whether you rise before the sun or use blackout curtains. A sunrise alarm clock simulates natural light to help regulate your circadian rhythm, so you wake up more gently and feel alert right away.
What is special about the Hatch Restore is that it is more than just a wake up alarm clock, (though it's our favorite for customization options). Rather, it can be part of your entire sleep routine, from winding down to waking up.
If you're on a mission to continue your bedroom refresh, a mattress is the best investment you can make, but we've also rounded up loads of the best Prime Day bedding dealsincluding great discounts on pillows to weighted blankets. We'll be updating our Amazon Prime Day deals hub, too, throughout the sale with the latest splurge-worthy deals. You can also scan our roundup of the best Amazon coupons for bigger savings during the two-day sale.
Why I love the Hatch Restore
I can wake up to a rainbow of rich colors that gradually brighten to gently wake me up at the time I set for my alarm to go off.

It looks beautiful on my nightstand. The Hatch Restore's half-moon silhouette looks like no other alarm clock I've seen, with a soft, fabric-wrapped front available in three soothing colors. It subtly displays the time during the day, then automatically goes dark — and its sensors know to light back up if I wake in the middle of the night.
The light displays are vibrant. The beauty of the Hatch Restore is its rich light displays, which gradually brighten to gently wake you in the morning, or to create ambient mood lighting at night. Hatch offers dozens of cinematic presets and can turn a full spectrum of colors.
The app includes a great range of soothing sounds and original content to wake up and fall asleep too. In addition to a rainbow of color options, the Hatch also acts as a sound machine. The Hatch app unlocks various songs, sounds, and original content like mediations and bedtime stories, to help you wind down. I like to set a sleep routine, listening to various meditations or bedtime podcasts before transitioning into 15 minutes of color noise before drifting off to sleep. It does require an subscription to unlock the best sound and light settings, including limited edition sounds from the Gilmore Girls or The Twilight Saga. Honestly, I'm a creature of habit and wish these sounds would stay in the library for the long haul, as opposed to temporally, but they're a fun way to put me in the autumnal spirit.
You can set multiple alarms and sleep routines. The app is fairly easy to navigate, and you can set multiple alarms for any day of the week, whether you want three alarms set on Monday or a later wake up on Saturday. This applies to routines, which you can customize and toggle based on your mood.
It keeps me off my phone. The third-generation model is designed for a calmer bedtime, with large analog controls so you can start your sleep routine or shut off your morning alarm without ever touching your phone.
