Donald Trump was so taken by his trip to Beijing that he’s done a complete one-eighty on his pledge to American farmers that he’d stop Chinese nationals buying up land in the U.S.
“It’s not that I love it. You want to see farm prices drop, you wanna see farmers lose a lot of money? Just take that out of the market,” the president told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Thursday during his trip to China.
Hannity had raised the question of “thousands and thousands of acres of farmland, ranchland, and land near military installations” being purchased by Chinese buyers.
