New Audio Reportedly Reveals Jonathan Majors Admitted to Strangling Ex-Girlfriend

Actor Jonathan Majors reportedly admitted to strangling his ex-girlfriend, professional dancer Grace Jabbari, an audio recording obtained by Rolling Stone reveals. In a civil lawsuit that was settled last year, Jabbari alleged that Majors slammed her into a car and dragged her back into their house, where he strangled her. The previously unreleased audio clip was from the aftermath of that fight, which reportedly took place in September 2022. “I’m ashamed I’ve ever— ” Majors starts. “I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.” Jabbari responded: “You strangled me and pushed me against the car.” Majors replies: “Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah. That’s never happened to me.” Jabbari asks if the incident happened “because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?” Majors responds: “Well clearly, it’s more than that,” adding that there was something in him “towards” Jabbari, before the recording ends. The Daily Beast has reached out to representatives of Majors for comment. An attorney for Jabbari declined to comment to Rolling Stone. Majors was found guilty of third-degree reckless assault and harassment in 2023, following a different fight with Jabbari. The Marvel actor has consistently maintained that Jabbari was the aggressor in an incident where she fractured a finger and cut the back of her ear. Majors was acquitted of two other charges—intentional assault and aggravated harassment.
