Meryl Streep’s Actress Daughter Files for Divorce From Second Husband

Meryl Streep’s daughter Mamie Gummer, an actress who starred in The Good Wife,is parting ways with her second husband, Peoplereports. Gummer, 41, filed for divorce Thursday from Mehar Sethi, 42, a comedy screenwriter with whom she shares two children, according to the magazine. The two have been apart for well over a year, as the filing listed their separation date as May 6, 2023. They were wed in in 2019. Gummer listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and asked the court for joint custody of their children, Peter, 5, and Mary, 3. She is also seeking spousal support from Sethi, who has worked on the TV shows Bojack Horseman, Rick and Morty, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Gummer played Nancy Crozier on The Good Wife. Her acting credits also include starring roles in movies The Lifeguard, Ricki and the Flash, and Side Effects. Gummer was previously married to actor Benjamin Walker, but the two split in 2013. She is one of Streep’s four children with Don Gummer, from whom she is now separated. The other siblings are Louisa Jacobson, 33, Grace Gummer, 38, and Henry Wolfe, 45.
