The world’s most hyped jam is set to finally go on sale this week, Meghan Markle announced in an email message Monday. In a slightly bizarre message to fans who have signed on for updates, Meghan announced that she hoped people would repurpose the “keepsake packaging” containing her “raspberry spread that started it all” to “tuck away love notes or special treasures, and to remember this pivotal moment with me,” in what appeared to be an optimistic characterization of how people would see her jam launch. Prices for the products, which include a “crepe mix” which Meghan promised would “transform a typical weekend breakfast into a chance to reminisce” are still not being advertised on her website, As Ever. The brand was hastily renamed As Ever this year after a trademark dispute with the previous name, American Riviera Orchard. After the much-mocked scene in her homemaking show when she decanted pretzels from a big bag into a small bag, Meghan also had an innovative suggestion that when the jam was finished, people could, “rinse the jar and use it as a small bud vase for flowers on your nightstand, or to hold your pens on your desk.” Who knew?
