Christina Haack and Josh Hall are getting divorced less than three years after they tied the knot.

Hall remained a bit of a mystery to the public throughout his marriage to Haack. He wasn't an HGTV star like her other exes and didn't even have an Instagram when he and Haack started dating.

Here's everything you need to know about Hall.

Josh Hall is a real-estate agent

According to The Foundry Group's website, of which Hall is a cofounder, Hall was born at the Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) Army base. He lived across the US throughout his early childhood because his father worked for the military.

His family eventually moved to Southern California, where Hall grew up alongside two sisters, Jessica Hall and Stacie (née Hall) Adams. He is the eldest child in his family.

Hall became a police officer when he was 21, a job he held for 16 years. He has posted about his career as a police officer on Instagram.

Hall's law enforcement career ended after he was injured on the job, and after he retired, he decided to become a licensed real-estate agent in Texas. Realtor.com reported that he moved to Austin in 2017 for his work.

Real estate brought Hall and Haack together. US Weekly reported they first met at a real-estate conference at some point in the late 2010s, though they didn't start dating until 2021.

Hall later relocated to Franklin, Tennessee, where he and Haack renovated homes on "Christina in the Country."

Haack wasn't Hall's first wife

Haack was married to two of her HGTV peers before she married Hall, first to her "Flip or Flop" costar Tarek El Moussa and then to Ant Anstead, who also had an HGTV show. She shares two children with Tarek and one child with Anstead.

Hall was also married to a woman named Chelsea before he and Haack were involved. He married Chelsea in August 2016, according to an Instagram post that Jessica Hall shared.

Chelsea also spoke to US Weekly in July 2024 after Hall and Haack filed for divorce, telling the outlet she and Hall were together for seven years and married for nearly five. She also said their divorce was finalized in May 2021 after they separated in February.

Haack and Hall never specifically shared when they started dating, but in March 2022, Haack shared a photo of them taken in March 2021, indicating they were together before his divorce from Chelsea was finalized.

Hall and Haack got married in October 2021, though they didn't make the marriage public until April 2022.

Hall's family has reality TV ties

After he and Haack tied the knot, Hall appeared on her HGTV shows, "Christina on the Coast" and "Christina in the Country." He was also set to star in "The Flip Off" with her before their split.

Hall's not the only member of his family with reality TV experience.

His sister, Stacie Adams, appeared on "The Hills," on which she was known as "Stacie the bartender." Spencer Pratt's flirtation with her despite his long-term relationship with Heidi Montag was a dramatic plot point in season five of the series in 2009.

Likewise, Jessica Hall appeared on MTV's "Burned" in 2003 and as a briefcase model on "Deal or No Deal" in 2005, People reported. She was also a Playboy model, and she appeared frequently in Kendra Wilkinson's series "Kendra" and "Kendra on Top," as the pair were close friends.

Jessica Hall also had a friendship with Heather Rae El Moussa, who was a Playboy model before becoming a "Selling Sunset" star and marrying Haack's first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa. Jessica Hall and Heather Rae El Moussa even hosted the "Flashbacks" podcast together for a period.

Hall filed for divorce from Haack

Hall filed for divorce from Haack on July 12, 2024, citing their date of separation as July 8 in a petition reviewed by Business Insider.

Haack filed a petition for the dissolution of their marriage on July 23, listing their separation date as July 7.

Both cited irreconcilable differences as grounds for divorce. In the months since they announced their split, they have gone back and forth in court over the details of their relationship, and the divorce has yet to be settled.

Six months after their split, Hall and Haack are both in new relationships. Hall went public with his relationship with Stephanie Gabrys, a model, on Instagram on January 13, and People reported on January 11 that Haack is dating Christopher Larocca, the CEO of Network Connex.

Although he has moved on to a new partner and phase of life, Hall will appear in the first episode of "The Flip Off" on January 29, as filming for the series began before their split.

The series will also provide some insight into their breakup, as was evident in two teaser clips released by HGTV in the lead-up to the series.

In one clip, Hall called Haack "rude" and said he wished she would "shut up." In another clip, Haack spoke to Tarek El Moussa about her breakup with Hall, telling him they had a "blowup" fight and that their children asked her to leave Hall.
