A man who grabbed Ariana Grande at the premiere for her new film, Wicked: For Good, has been charged with being a public nuisance. The incident in Singapore left the “Thank U, Next” singer looking visibly shaken and catching her breath after Johnson Wen rushed through her cast mates to get to her. The incident left Cynthia Erivo, Grande’s co-star, trying to pull the 26-year-old away from her. He is now “free after being arrested,” he said. If found guilty, he could face a fine of around $1,540, according to the BBC. Grande has previously spoken out about suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD, after her concert in Manchester, U.K., in 2017 was bombed, claiming the lives of 22 people. After the charge from Wen, Erivo and fellow co-star Michelle Yeoh were seen trying to support Grande. She has not spoken about the incident. Fans had flocked to see the cast of the eagerly anticipated Wicked sequel walk the yellow brick road carpet ahead of its release on Nov. 21.
