The Forerunner 165 is a stellar watch for runners (I won't leave my house for a run without it), but athletes of all types will find something to love here. The watch's main purpose is to track runs, with options for three distinct types: standard outdoor, track, and treadmill. It's been efficient across the board for me, and I find the GPS much quicker and more accurate than my previous Garmin Forerunner 55. I'm coming off an injury, so I've been doing a lot more crosstraining than usual, and it's also able to track non-running workouts easily. Additionally, it's a great way to record your heart rate, recovery, sleep, and overall daily steps.
