Donald Trump’s chief of staff has been left stunned by news of the FBI doing its job.
Reuters reported Wednesdaythe bureau subpoenaed phone records for Susie Wiles, along with current FBI Director Kash Patel, in 2022 and 2023 as part of a broader investigation into the MAGA president’s alleged storage of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
Those efforts apparently went as far as listening in on a phone call between Wiles and her attorney in 2023. Her lawyer was aware the exchange was being monitored. She was not.
