A MAGA pundit tearing ahead in the race to become Donald Trump’s next press secretary went into overdrive to defend his master’s “human binkie.”
CNN talking head Scott Jennings, 48, has fast emerged as frontrunner to replace 28-year-old Karoline Leavitt after her shock announcement last week that she’d be stepping down. He’s refused to say if he wants the job—while making a number of media appearances that are hard to read any other way.
His performance on Tuesday night’s edition of Laura Coates Live is a case in point. Jennings tore into Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff of Georgia, who told a re-election rally in Atlanta that Trump “doesn’t want to do the job—he wants to build his ballroom and travel with Natalie.”
