Pop star Britney Spears, 44, was arrested Wednesday night on suspicion of DUI in Ventura County, California, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
The “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer was taken into custody by the California Highway Patrol around 9:30 p.m., but has since been released.
The Daily Beast has reached out to Spears’s team for comment.
