As the home editor on BI's Reviews team, I've been covering Black Friday furniture deals for years. This week, I've spent my time scouring early discounts and sales to find the ones that are actually worth shopping ahead of time.

This year, I'm looking to upgrade my dining chairs to something a little more statement-making. I have my eye on a few options from Ballard Designs, which is offering 40% off when you buy four or more chairs or stools. If you're looking for more value-oriented pieces, Ashley has this 5-piece Calmoro dining set on sale for $599. Target, The Home Depot, and Bed Bath and Beyond also all have offers on dining furniture.
Black Friday home office furniture deals
If you work from home and need to deck out a home office, now is a great time to upgrade. Uplift is offering $100 off its new V3 standing desk, which is the top pick in our buying guide. Branch, another brand we've tested and highly recommend for office furniture, is offering up to 20% off its bestselling desks. Flexispot makes our picks for the best budget standing desk and best heavy-duty desk, and is offering up to 70% off. Black Friday rug deals

Is Black Friday a good time to buy furniture?
Absolutely. Black Friday is a great time to buy new furniture; some may even say it's the best time of the year. Many retailers will have all-time low prices on sofas, bed frames, and dining tables. We've seen savings up to 80% off. Other shopping holidays like Labor Day and Memorial Day can also have good deals, but they are often not as good as Black Friday.
How soon can I have my furniture delivered?
This depends on where you order from and the type of furniture. Custom and made-to-order pieces can take a few months to ship, while ordering from mass-market stores can take just a few days. Pay attention to expected delivery timelines, which are often posted on each individual product page. If you're in a hurry to receive furniture quickly, some brands also offer ready-to-ship sections to expedite delivery.
Are there any sales that are better than last year's?
I track furniture sales all throughout the year, and while many retailers get to be quite predictable with their sales and markdowns, I've noticed a few that have really increased the savings this year.
Most notably, Lovesac is offering 35% off sitewide, which extends to its new Snugg sofa collection. This unique sofa includes built-in storage in the frame. This sale beats last year, which included 30% off Sactionals and Stealthtech. Rove Concepts members also get a boost from last year with 35% off prices and 20% back in vouchers.
