Donald Trump has deepened confusion over his war with Iran after declaring an end to the conflict was imminent, only to suggest hours later that there was still a way to go.
In yet another mixed message, the 79-year-old president also claimed on Wednesday that he didn’t know about a military investigation into a strike on an elementary school in Iran, days after saying the matter was being examined and he was prepared to “live with” the findings.
